How to use Glitterbug
See the invisible. Master the technique.
Our hand-hygiene training tools use visual feedback to show where germs *could* be — so you can show people where they *are missing*. Whether it’s washing, sanitising or avoiding cross-contamination, our method makes the unseen visible.
1. Apply the invisible agent
We apply a specially designed training agent that’s invisible under normal light — but glows under UV. It represents the germs that could be on hands and surfaces.
2. Wash, sanitise or interact
Participants carry out their normal washing or sanitising routine — or handle surfaces as usual. The invisible agent stays where they miss or spreads where contact occurs.
3. Reveal with UV light
Under a UV lamp, glowing areas highlight missed spots or contamination spread — creating a powerful visual moment that shows how much is often overlooked.
4. Review. Correct. Repeat.
With clear visual feedback, you can identify missed areas — thumbs, wrists, fingertips and more — correct the technique, and repeat to reinforce good hygiene habits.
