Shipping

Standard shipping on the majority of UK mainland orders up to £74.99 ex vat is £3.99 ex vat. UK orders of £75.00 ex vat or over will qualify for free delivery.

There are exceptions to the above, such as remote areas and islands will be subject to a shipping surcharge. These include Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and the Highlands of Scotland.

Local deliveries to postcodes LA1 to LA7 will be free of charge.

Goods delivered using this option will be sent using the most economical method, usually Royal Mail Parcel Post or courier. We reserve the right to choose the shipping method which will depend upon a number of factors including the weight and value of the parcel as well as the location of the delivery address.

Return policy

Our returns policy allows up to 14 days after receiving your goods, in most cases, you can change your mind and get a full refund.

Unless faulty, we can only accept the return of goods in "as new" condition. Worn, used or damaged goods will not be refunded.

We will normally process a refund within 2 working days of the returned items reaching us, although the Directive allows us up to 30 days. Please note that the refund may take several days between us authorising the payment and it showing on your card account.

See fake “germs” glow in the dark to visualize cross-contamination

  • Glitterbug Powder is a unique and versatile product that can be used for a range of applications, including verification of environmental surface cleaning, visualisation of cross-contamination and hand hygiene demonstrations.
  • The powder is easy to use and can be applied to surfaces, objects or hands to simulate the spread of germs. Then use a UVA lamp like the GlowBarLED to show what has been cleaned or touched and where the fake germs have travelled.
  • By using the powder, you can teach people about the importance of good hygiene practices and the effectiveness of hand washing techniques.

When teaching a class you could dust the powder on a sheet of paper and hand it round the room. A quick check with the UV lamp will graphically show how easily powder (or germs) can be spread from person to person.

Alternatively spread the powder on a work surface and ask someone to clean it. Again the UV light will show up any areas that have been missed.
